In the late 90s and early 2000s, following the general trend, Viktor indulged in the sin of computer gaming. He left this sin behind, as well as school, in 2004. But he retained a sense of a very specific aesthetic that existed only within this medium and only in this period.
The project that now occupied him arose as an attempt to visually approximate this aesthetic as closely as possible.
Over time, the project has developed its own character (Michaela didn't play computer games), and now almost has the aura of a fold-out picture book: clearly separated layers that all contribute their part to the whole.
But one rule always remained the same: no special digital helpers (e.g. Photoshop, etc.) were to be used in the process; instead, the sections of the real world were limited only by the focal length. Hence the images were not created on the computer, but on the spot.
